When you have been doing Bible reading and you want to go deeper into God’s Word, a very good way of doing it is by listening to Dr. J. Vernon McGee. He does a five year, thorough, systemic study going through the entire Bible. He alternates between the Old Testament and New Testament, daily Monday through Friday. He has a Texan accent that a few people don’t like to listen to, but I have no problem. He teaches and preaches only Bible and how it relates to us. He is now with the Lord, but his ministry is still active and is available worldwide in many different formats and languages, including on radio. An app is even available.

One thing that has been very much of an eye opener for me is when you sign up for Monday-Friday emails from them that are what and who to pray for from around the world. They are varied areas of the world with people who have written in and asked for prayer or tell how they have followed Jesus and grown much from listening to Thru the Bible. Many of the people are in very difficult situations

I would like to encourage everyone to listen at least once to see what you can learn. I have learned much. One thing I really enjoy is the large number of resources available for free on the website.
